Thank you for visiting our media page. We know your time is precious, so let us quickly show you the highlights of our exceptional coverage, which is national and international in scope.

USATODAY/10Best.com

Each of our posts on this national site has an estimated media value of $30,500+ reaching 5 million+ readers—and growing !  10Best is quickly taking over as the travel arm of USATODAY, thanks to the quality of its journalists and photographers, and we are proud to have been part of the team since its inception in 2010.

An important part of our ROI is that, in addition to this international coverage, we will provide you with complimentary use of our photos/videos for promotional use to highlight your destination.

We’d LOVE for you to review all the many galleries we’ve produced for 10Best over the years, and you can see them all here on our personal 10BEST link.

That being said, if you quickly want to see a short list of some of our many 10Best published galleries specific to your clients’ specialty, here you go:

We specialize in experiential ocean and river cruises, covering the historical, cultural, social, and natural flora and fauna of every port we visit. We’re happy to jump into a kayak to maneuver through ice floes, snorkel in waters to capture magnificent coral reefs and playful seals, or just relax on deck and photograph the amazing scenery as it floats by. Since a photo is worth a thousand words, check out some of these recent cruise articles in USATODAY 10 Best and USA TODAY Travel:

EUROPE

Europe is one of our favorite destinations, to be sure. We love traveling outside of the big cities, discovering smaller towns and villages whose history speaks to our souls-- and to our cameras, of course! These galleries are among dozens we’ve produced on European destinations over the years.

While we concentrate mostly on California wine trails, for obvious reasons, we’ve also had incredible experiences outside California.

We’ve visited vinyards from Texas to Virginia to Idaho. And we will NEVER forget the wine trails along Rhein, with Reisling like we never tasted before!

So please feel free to invite us to discover your region’s vintages, wherever in the world you are! Here a few of our most recent winery-based articles:

SOFT ADVENTURE

Many of our press trips involve soft adventure, from swimming with the sea lions and turtles off the coast of the Galapagos Islands, to kayaking through the ice floes of Alaska, bicycling along the waterways of Europe, and trekking through countless numbers of picturesque hiking trails around the world. Here was one of our favorites!

PRINT MEDIA

We LOVE print, and have dozens of print articles in major publications (San Diego Union Tribune, LA TIMES, AAA, The Week, etc.)  published over the years (beginning with my first travel article ever written, which appeared as the lead article on the LA TIMES travel section back in 1988!)

Here’s a link to our PUBLICATION PRINT GALLERY that features PDFs of a few of these articles.

We are syndicated with the Tribune News Service, which means our articles, published regularly in the San Diego Union Tribune, are sent out to national and even international media for reprint after publication. Our 10Best galleries also are syndicated with Gannett Syndication Service, so you never quite know where in the world our galleries will appear!

Our Photography Website

As if the above wasn’t enough to convince you we should be part of your PR outreach, our travel photography website, JOANNE & TONY DIBONA PHOTOGRAPHY currently generates 120,000+ photo views each month.  As an added bonus to any of our press trips with you, complimentary photos and video clips are provided to our hosts for promotional use, just in exchange for a photo credit.

Did I mention that we actively post our best trip photos on our INSTAGRAM sites for the world to enjoy? Follow us:   @joannedibonaphotos @tonydibonatravl

More About Joanne & Tony DiBona

You may want to know are not newcomers to the travel industry, to be sure.

Joanne DiBona Portrait, WEBSITE MEDIA PAGE.jpg

I enjoyed a wonderful tenure with San Diego Tourism Authority (aka San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau) as both the communications director and the staff photographer.  My photos, both of San Diego and the recent galleries we create on our many press trips, are published throughout the world on a daily basis. A simple Google search of Joanne DiBona will result in hundreds of links to publications in which my photos appear.

Best, Tony Switzerland.jpg

Despite his long career as an engineer with the Federal Government, Tony managed to hone his photographic skills over the decades, winning several awards for his images of life and work in the Philippines. He’s now a featured contributor to our 10Best.com photo galleries and my trusted travel guide (yes he also carries the heavy camera gear) and also holds the cherished position as logistics coordinator for our many press trips.
