Discover Remarkable Rhode Island

Newport Rhode Island     © Joanne DiBona

Rhode Island may be the smallest state in the nation in land area, but it packs a mighty wallop when it comes to activities and attractions for travelers.

Providence, Rhode Island's capital, is a hotbed of history, culture, art and dining. What's more, it has the cosmopolitan vibe of a major metropolis while maintaining the intimate feel of a New England town.

The charming town of Newport boasts a history that dates back to 1639, and its well preserved historical buildings and cobblestone streets reflect this heritage. Miles of pristine beaches, museums and galleries, eclectic shopping, outstanding cuisine, vineyards and wine-tasting, and a vibrant nightlife await the visitor.
